current hair routine

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but switching to drugstore hair care completely changed my hair.

I started following the Abbey Yung method on TikTok and she really breaks everything down from your hair type to damage to what you’re trying to achieve, and helps you figure out what actually works for you.

I’m someone who never believed drugstore products would work for me. I’ve always used high end hair care since cosmetology school in my early 20s, and my hair has honestly never looked this good.

There are definitely amazing high end products out there and I know they work for a lot of people, but I’m still blown away that I was able to get seven products for around sixty dollars and my hair is this shiny and healthy.

✨ My Routine

For a clarifying shampoo, I use Pantene Sheer Volume.

Then I go in with the L’Oréal Ever Pure Bond Repair and let that sit for about five minutes.

After that, I use the Dove Intensive Repair shampoo with the bio protein care amino serum, followed by the Dove Intensive Repair conditioner.

At the end of my shower, I use the Pantene Miracle Rescue mask and leave that in for about five minutes.

✨ What I Use On My Hair 🤍

These are the exact products I’ve been using lately that have helped my hair feel healthier, softer, and so much easier to manage.

In the Shower

    •    Pantene Sheer Volume Shampoo (for clarifying when my hair feels heavy)

    •    L’Oréal Ever Pure Bond Repair (I let this sit for about 5 minutes)

    •    Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo (this has been so good for my hair lately)

    •    Dove Intensive Repair Conditioner (keeps everything soft and smooth)

    •    Pantene Miracle Rescue Mask (I leave this in for about 5 minutes at the end)

Leave-In

    •    Pantene Miracle Rescue 10-in-1 Spray (this has made my hair so shiny lately)

Oils I Use

Before I wash my hair, I like to oil it and sleep in it overnight.

    •    Castor Oil (for my scalp)

    •    Rosemary Oil (for growth)

    •    Jojoba Oil (lightweight and easy to use)

    •    Biotin Oil (focused on my ends)

    •    Coconut Oil (OGX is the one I use)
