Summer Toddler Smoothie 🍑

Smoothies might be one of my favorite summer toddler snacks. They are cold, refreshing, so easy to make, and there are endless fruit combinations that taste really good together.

I also love knowing my toddler is getting a good mix of fruit in one little snack. Sometimes I even sneak a vegetable into the blender depending on what I have at home. It is one of the easiest ways to use up produce and switch things up so snack time never feels exactly the same.

For this smoothie I used blackberries, pineapple, peach, and coconut water. The coconut water is especially nice during the summer because it contains electrolytes and gives the smoothie a light, refreshing consistency without needing milk or juice. ☀️

What I Used

Blackberries

Pineapple

Peach

Coconut water

How I Make It

Add your fruit to a blender.

Pour in enough coconut water to get everything blending smoothly.

Blend until completely smooth, adding a little more coconut water if you want a thinner consistency.

Pour into your toddler’s cup and serve.

Make It Your Own

The best part about smoothies is that you really cannot get bored with them. Switch up the fruit depending on what is in season or what you already have in the fridge or freezer.

I will sometimes add a vegetable too. A little carrot, zucchini, or another mild vegetable can blend right in with the fruit.

You can really play around with different combinations until you find the ones your toddler loves. And who says toddler smoothies are only for toddlers? I almost always want one for myself too.
