Toddler Berry Yogurt Parfait

I originally made these little yogurt parfaits for the Fourth of July because the strawberries, yogurt, and blueberries naturally give you that red, white, and blue look. They ended up being such an easy toddler snack that I started making them all year round.

This is one of those toddler snacks that is almost too simple to call a recipe, but that is exactly why I love it. It only takes a few ingredients, comes together in minutes, and you can make as much or as little as you need.

There really is no exact measuring needed with this one. I usually just add a little of each ingredient depending on how hungry my toddler is.

Ingredients

Yogurt

Oats

Strawberries, cut into small pieces

Blueberries

What I Serve Them In

I love making these in little glass jars. They make all of the layers look so cute, especially when you are making them for a holiday, and they are the perfect little size for a toddler snack.

I linked similar little glass jars on my Amazon Storefront if you want to make them at home too.

How I Make It

  1. Add a small layer of oats to the bottom of your glass jar or bowl.
  2. Spoon a layer of yogurt over the oats.
  3. Add your chopped strawberries.
  4. Add another little layer of yogurt.
  5. Finish with blueberries on top.

That is it. It is such a simple snack, but the layers make it feel a little more fun.

I especially love making these for the Fourth of July because of the red, white, and blue colors, but they are definitely not just a holiday snack. We make them throughout the year whenever I have berries and yogurt on hand.

You can also switch up the fruit depending on what you have at home or what is in season. That is one of my favorite things about easy toddler snacks like this. They do not need to be complicated to feel special.

The Little Glass Jars

The little glass jars in these pictures actually came from a pudding brand I found at Whole Foods. I loved the jars so much that I started saving them, and they ended up being the perfect size for little snacks like this.

You can find very similar little glass jars on Amazon, so I linked some on my Amazon Storefront. They are perfect for prepping toddler snacks, yogurt, fruit, overnight oats, or little treats ahead of time.

And really, who says this has to be a toddler snack? Make a few for yourself too. I love anything that makes grabbing a quick snack from the fridge feel a little more fun.
